It seems the acting bug has bitten Canadian rocker, Alanis Morissette. With sales of her albums consistently dwindling (Her latest album, Flavors Of Entanglement selling 900,000 compared to the 33 million copies Jagged Little Pill has reportedly sold), it seems the singer/songwriter is branching out. With an guest acting gig on US channel, Showtime's hit series, Weeds, and a starring role in the yet to be released 'Radio Free Albemuth' (based on The Phillip K. Dick novel of the same name), Morissette is apparently creating a lot of buzz within the industry.
The latest gossip? Alanis has just signed on to play a character in the upcoming film, 'The Other Side', with (of all people) Lindsay Lohan. The film, being shot on location in Massachusetts, starts production this fall. Expect it in theaters sometime in 2010.
