Available on PC, IOS, Linux, Xbox One, Wii U and PS4, The Fall is a point and click science fiction adventure game with some action game elements. Created by Canadian Indie developer, Over The Moon Games, and funded partly through a Kickstarter campaign, The Fall Pt. 1 tells the story of A. R. I. D., the artificial intelligence inside a manned battle flight suit who must attempt to save the life of it's unconsious occupant when he is shot down over an abandoned cybernetics factory.
Visually inspired partly by 2010 indie game, Limbo, it also takes inspiration from NES gaming classic Metroid and the Lucasarts Monkey Island games.
Given the Best GameStory nod by Giant Bomb, The Fall Pt. 1 is extremely atmospheric and one of my favorite Console releases of 2015. A sequel is currently in development.
