If you happened to be at the 30th annual Pride festivities in Toronto, Canada this past weekend you no doubt shook some barely dressed body part to these tracks but for those of you unfortunate enough to miss the Canadian party (and incidentally the largest event of it's kind in North America) here are my personal favorites from the weekend
I will admit that I am a GaGa junkie. But there's only so much Bad Romance 1 person can handle... needless to say I've mastered the claw dance. The Bimbo Jones remix was EVERYWHERE!!!
You may remember Kelis and her hit 'Milkshake' from years ago. Her new single, 'Acapella' from her dance infused sophomore album 'Flesh Tone' was a fixture at gay clubs this weekend.
...And the song that I absolutely could not get out of my head this weekend... the song that ran over and over through my brain and which made me scream like a nelly bitch every time I heard it is the first single from Destiny's Child alumni, Kelly Rowland's upcoming self-titled Motown/Universal release. The song, entitled 'Commander' and featuring French DJ, David Guetta was by far my favorite Pride track this year. ENJOY!
