Announced at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo in California, Castlevania : Lords Of Shadow marks a new beginning for the series originally created for the NES in the early 80's.
Being co-produced by Japan's Kojima Entertainment (the genius's behind the Metal Gear Solid series), the game will focus just as much on well scripted story as it does innovative game play. From what information has been released thus far, it looks to play much like the PS3 staple, God Of War. The game's impressive voice cast includes Patrick Stewart (X-Men Movies, Star Trek:TNG) and Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting, 28 Weeks Later) and by the trailer alone, the game is receiving substantial online buzz.
Expect Castlevania : Lords Of Shadow to hit shelves sometime in 2010.
